Chargers QB Justin Herbert Facing Heat For Playoff Performance

Justin Herbert's performance has left a bit to be desired in Saturday's AFC Wild Card battle vs. the Texans.

In just his second career playoff appearance, Herbert has really struggled to get into a rhythm. Completing just 9-of-22 passes for 114 yards and an interception — including some big misses on key plays in the first half.

The Chargers QB is widely-regarded as one of the most talented in the NFL. However, fans are beginning to question if LA's $262.5 million man is "overrated."

"Watching Justin Herbert continuously fail to convert when his defense needs him the most. This dude is overrated," a user said.

"NFL Media loves Justin Herbert because he is white and tall. That guy is not an elite QB and never has been," another claimed.

"Justin Herbert is the least clutch 'superstar' I've literally ever seen this is bad," a fan posted.

"Justin Herbert is one of the most overrated QBs ever," another person commented.

"Justin Herbert is so overrated man. Accuracy and ball placement isn't elite."

"I never want to hear the media talk about Justin Herbert's 'potential' ever again," another user replied. "He's a habitual underachiever who does nothing to elevate his team."

"this can't be the same justin herbert yall said was a top 10 qb."

With a quarter and half left to play, there's still plenty of time for Herbert to get things turned around. But it's going to take some much better throws and decision-making than he's had to this point.

The Bolts trail Houston 20-6 with 0:13 left to play in the third following a Justin Herbert pick-six.
